About us

Doctrinal Statement

We are dedicated to the “restoration” of the Church as established by Jesus Christ. We believe in one God who is revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:6, John 3:16-17). We believe that the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is the written Word of God, and inspired by the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16) We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of our sins.
We believe that to accept Christ’s gift of salvation, one must
BELIEVE Jesus is the Son of God (John 3:16).
REPENT of one’s sins (2 Peter 3:9).
CONFESS who Jesus is (Matthew 10:32-33).
BE BAPTIZED (immersed into water) (Acts 2:38).
BE FAITHFUL unto death (Rev. 2:10).
We believe that at BAPTISM one receives the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit and becomes a Christian or a part of the Body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The purpose of the Church (or the Body of Christ) is to glorify God by making Him known to the world, and loving one another as Christ has loved the Church. We emphasize the teaching of Jesus and His apostles, the fellowship of the Church, the breaking of bread (communion), and prayer. (John 4:24, Acts 2:42). We acknowledge thousands of Christian denominations, and we believe we are “not the only Christians, but we are Christians only” (Acts 11:26). We believe that every Christian should live for Christ and be in obedience to the Word of God. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We support missionaries, Christian colleges, and church camps – all for the sake of Christ’s calling to us to “GO. TEACH. BAPTIZE.” (Matthew 28:19-20).
